It has been a matter of immense pride for me to have worked with PCGT, an organization headed by people of impeccable stature who have had some exemplary bureaucrats as its founders; the trust due to its stupendous work has gained faith of many citizens and has won numerous accolades in the field of good governance. Everyone is humble and earnestly enthusiastic about the work they do, the organization deeply respects its interns which can be seen from its conduct as their suggestions are hugely welcomed, interns here understand the intricacies of law and governance with more emphasis on practical, real life problems by using the essential tool of RTI, one also gets the opportunity to meet great minds of various fields like Shailesh Gandhi, Ajit Ranade and the trustees themselves. The organization helps to channelize the energy of the youth with vast knowledge and experience of the trustees. The working of PCGT is quite relatable to this quote: “In a gentle way, You can shake the world” ---Mahatma Gandhi

I interned at PCGT for a period of 3 months and i must say, it served me well. Interning at PCGT involves a lot of critical thinking, zest for learning and eagerness to work for the society. Although it does not involve a lot of work on an everyday basis but everyday is a different day because you are either filing a new RTI, or involved in some kind of discussion with different trustees who are all masters in their field yet extremely humble and very approachable.
PCGT gives value to relationships at the same time gives equal respect and importance to all without any bias or differentiation. Everyone’s opinion in personal discussions as well as Weekly Trustees Meeting is equally respected and paid attention to. Especially as Interns, we were time and again asked for our take on various issues.
Julio Sir maintains a close relationship with the interns - talks to them on a regular basis, understands their background and shares a number of his life experiences while explaining what learning we are to take from it.

The young population of today is indeed fortunate to have organisations like PCGT, which are at the forefront in instilling a value-based attitude apart from edifying the RTI Act and its practicalities.
My experience at PCGT, under the guidance of Chairman Shri. Julio Ribeiro and other esteemed members, is exceptionally unforgettable. The atmosphere of oneness, integrity and mainly the scope for academic development, has invigorated me to be associated with PCGT till date.

Interning with PCGT was truly an inspiring experience, given the fact that one gets to interact and engage with veterans of public service, who have committed several years towards the betterment of the country.
PCGT encourages interns to go down to the grassroots and engage with people in enlightening the need for good governance and urges the public to be more participative in the democratic process.
It’s an organization which moulds the youth to work towards the cause of not just good governance, but better governance, integrating citizen participation with the government apparatus, and believes in making a positive difference in society
I would like to give a special mention to Mr D. S. Ranga Rao, a true maverick who spearheads the RTI project at PCGT, who will go to any extent to fight for the cause of transparency and accountability in governance.
Personally, as an individual, I did indeed benefit a lot from PCGT, receiving encouragement, inspiration and words of appreciation from the trustees & staff of the organisation.
PCGT has taught a lot to do more service towards the community and society at large

I had the privilege of interning at PCGT for a period of 3 months and work under the guidance of the excellent mentors. Interning at PCGT is a great amalgamation of imbibing several skills like critical thinking, leadership, time management, drafting and researching.
The work ethic at P.C.G.T. was unquestionably the best part of my experience. It was an open door policy where every intern was encouraged to speak up and learn from their mistakes. Moreover, there was a great platform for practical learning through various Client meetings, hearings at the Mantralaya and outstation camps.
Interacting with Shri Julio Ribeiro and discussing various issues with him and organising events was a great learning experience. This internship is a great opportunity to get on-field knowledge about the interaction between law and social work.
The biggest learning to take back is the spirit with which the trustees and PCGT is committed to the cause of putting an end to societal evils of corruption and communalism and their consistent undying effort to achieve the same.
